I was horizontal most of yesterday and today with a nasty bug, but fortunately got a few nice pictures of Anson yesterday morning before fading out.
He knows that I like to take pictures of him, and suggested the idea soon after he woke up. I mentioned to him the other day that he looks like a big boy when he sits with his legs crossed, so for the first photo, he proudly posed that way. In the picture above he is pondering some question that I put to him. Perhaps something like: "Who would win in a battle: Mr. Incredible or Darth Vader?"
Tonight he mentioned to me that "something funny happens when air goes down your esophagus". "What?" I asked. "You burp!" he said. Then he pointed out that this is the opposite of choking. "How so?", I asked. "Well, air is supposed to go down your windpipe, but you burp when it goes down your esophagus. Food is supposed to go down your esophagus, but you choke when it goes down your windpipe."
