Helen has been having some great Tuesdays recently, and it shows on her face. When she's happy, the entire house is happy. Look at those eyes.
Here she is on the screen porch. We were encouraged to enclose the porch when we bought the house, but on a day like today it's the loveliest room in the place. When we moved in, the wood was rotting and the furniture falling apart. But after a year or two, Helen had the structure renovated and my mom bought us some very nice rattan pieces. Now it's a great place to be, and I feel lucky to be able to walk back there and stretch out on the sofa at any time of the day or night. When work gets tedious these days, that's where you'll find me.
