Met Tim Scott for lunch in DC yesterday. This is his last week at RDA. He's leaving to pursue opportunities in embedded systems work, which he's always loved. It's exciting to see him take a chance on something he believes in. Among other things, I think he got frustrated working on the vanilla "names and addresses" software that RDA builds.
We had lunch in Cleveland Park, near the Uptown Theater (the last large movie theater in DC, where Revenge of the Sith will open in a few days). It's a nice part of town -- lots of restaurants and interesting buildings. I had a few minutes to walk around taking pictures before we ate, but I wish I knew the area better.
