Just back from a week at the beach for the Independence Day holiday. Unfortunately, a $10 tube that connects our washing machine to the faucet burst while we were gone, flooding the basement with water. The insurance company has people here now cleaning it up. What a mess.
There was a party on the beach for the 4th. Someone in the neighborhood splurges on fireworks each year, which results in some nice eye candy for all of us lucky enough to be there to watch.
